NICOLE - Network for Internet Based Collaborative Learning

The main aim of this project was to 

• spread information about good practice within each of the participating countries and to other countries in Europe

• collect validated materials from the partner institutions and present them through the project’s Web-page, the NICOLE-Page.

eCOLE - Internet-based Collaborative Learning in Adult Education

This EU project has tested two models for collaborative learning

1. WebSiteStory(WSS) which is a model for creative writing in foreign language learning. The "stories" have focused on intercultural issues. The students in each of the  participating countries added their chapter to a "story".
2. ACROSS is a model for cross-curricula problem solving activities. Students from the participating countries wrote reports on different themes. Collaboration between the different classrooms were needed to complete the report.
