The overall aim of the Grundtvig Learning Partnership is to facilitate the reintegration of offenders into society and labour market through the development of individual learning processes in prison education.
The Partnership is based on the co-operation between eight institutions from six European countries. In this partnership they will exchange experience, knowledge and practice related to different aspects of prison education.
The Partnership has a holistic approach to prison education. This will allow an exchange on a broad range of topics: Policy and decision making related to prison education, different practices for validation of prior learning, specific barriers to learning and strategies to overcome those. Good practices for cooperation between teachers and trainers, prison staff and administration and external organisations and services will be debated as well.
