Siret Valley

Geography

The Siret River enters our country through Siret(a small town from the north part of our country). The Siret Valley crosses 5 counties from Moldavia(Suceava, Iasi, Neamt, Bacau and Vrancea). The relief of this part of our country is the plateau with a temperat-continental climat. It is an area with a rich flora and fauna which, at least for now, is not exploied. Even if, regarding the tourism, this area hadn't been developed, because of the magnificent landscape(forests, the Siret meadow, the river itself) and the history that sorrounds the area there are many who would like to know it.

Siret valley - tourism
The Siret valley is a geographical area with an impressive touristic potential. But all the natural riches are not exploited in tourism. All the tourists go to the mountains and their monasteries, but few come to the river. We think that the river could be adapted to water sports: fishing, canoeing, rafting, water-skiing, swimming, yachting etc. This would make the river a very nice tourist attraction for people who like water.
Also, this could be a very nice area for hunting and bird watching, because the valley has a lot of forests. Bothanists could find many kinds of water plants.
The valley could be a good place for camping sites, better than for hotels - to benefit from the nature, unpolluted fresh air, nature photography and simply pure relaxation in the sun.
