The “From Migration to Management” project (M2M) is focusing on best practices as to recruiting and qualifying immigrant workers to leadership and management positions on different levels.
Employees of immigrant origin are often predominant in specific sectors but are seldom found in leadership and management positions even if they constitute a large part of the work force.
The Partnership is going to investigate best practices, measures and actions that have been initiated and implemented in order to qualify and recruit immigrant workers to management level positions at work places as well as the most important barriers to success and strategies to overcome them.
The recruitment of immigrant workers to higher positions is also important from an active citizen point of view, it will allow for exerting more influence in working life as well as in society. It is important that second and third generations of immigrant descent have role models and that they see that it is realistic too be ambitious regarding work and career and influence in society in general.
